I’ve been trying to figure out for weeks how to articulate all the kind words that recently came in.  You see, I wanted to gather some testimonials from former clients- especially brides- to give future brides an idea of what to expect from HGP.  Weddings are so hard to plan, and I know I can say until I’m blue in the face that I’m here to help you, but it’ll be easier to hear from other brides exactly how I can help.  When I asked them to articulate their experience with me I never imagined the responses.  I bawled.  Like, I really cried a lot.  Ugly cry too.  While these couples walked away with images that they will love for a lifetime, I’ve walked (while ugly crying) away from their day knowing they not only will cherish the pictures, but know they had an amazing experience.  It makes my heart whole to know they feel that way!

The Wedding Testimonial (part I)

I had a HUGE concern about the timeline and getting our photos all in. I had never planned a wedding before and had absolutely no idea what I was doing.  Not only did Jen walk me through several time lines to find one that fits best for our vision, she helped me fill out so many details that I hadn’t even thought of. She took as much time as we needed to make sure we were comfortable and totally happy with our plan and helped us adjust the day of when we needed to.

The day of our wedding when we ran into 100°+ weather for our outdoor wedding; she didn’t miss a beat. She gave us absolutely beautiful pictures through the sweat, melting cake and some tears (from me). She kept our timeline right on course and pulled out some ideas that day that to this day take my breath away when I look back on them. Your wedding day goes by so fast that it’s hard to remember all the details, having great photos to look back was the best investment I made and Hidden Gem Photography was one of the best choices I made for my wedding.

Working with HGP isn’t like working with your run of the mill photographer. She cares about what you want and will do whatever she can to make it happen. By the end it feels more like you are working with an old friend than a hired photographer and to me that was priceless.

To me after working with HGP on our engagement and wedding pictures there is no one else I would go to or recommend. Jen isn’t just professional, she is just a great and extremely talented person! I am already looking forward to using her again for our newborn session when our little girl gets here next year!
