1912 Barn – This gorgeous venue paired up with Rachal’s taste and attention to detail is a match made in wedding heaven. She seriously didn’t overlook anything. From the gorgeous flower arrangements that adorned the barn every time you turned around, to the edible favors, matching robes for the girls, William’s brother officiating, to the bench used as a guest book, and personalized wine glasses.
Rachal and Bill incorporated elements to their day that were new to my sister and I, and amazingly adorable. They started their day together with a gift exchange (ummm, Bill needs to give husbands everywhere lessons). During the ceremony they braided a God’s Knot symbolizing the joining of one man, one woman, and God in the sacrament of marriage. In addition, they wrote their own vows, filled with genuine sentiment, seriously risking tears from this nine month preggo.
D.espite temperatures exceeding 95 degrees the day of their wedding, nothing fazed this couple. Even when their photographer accidentally spilled red wine on her sparkling white dress during speeches. Yes, you read that correctly. I’m an idiot. Hopefully her amazing images makes up for the klutz that I am. Rachal, did I mention I was sorry enough yet?
Anyways, congratulations to this amazingly laid back couple. It was a joy photographing your day and witnessing the love you two share. Just a few more from the day…
