HGP Studio Newborn Session

Henry is one lucky little guy.  His mom contacted me months ago to get his studio newborn session penciled in, and while doing so, we booked a quick maternity session.  It was a tad chilly, but oh that light at Forsyth Park!  And Cara’s baby belly!  Little did we know that his momma would be having him a earlier to be expected, just 11 days after the maternity session.  But his birthday is a really cool one.

When you are told around the 30th that they’re going to keep you for observation, I’m sure the thought goes through your mind that you may be having a baby in the very near future while the hope is you keep baking baby a bit longer.  Inevitably, you think maybe baby will be a news years baby.  But Henry’s due date is even a tad cooler.

He came on his parents first anniversary, weeks before his actual due date, on new years eve.  How cool is that?  Despite being a few weeks early, he is wonderfully healthy, and already sporting some pretty cute rolls.

As always, my studio newborn session is and will always be one of my favorites.  Every little detail is too precious to miss, and Henry slept like a champ through his session so we capture everything.  And even though Cara & Eric made me use my little cubs hat I keep on hand (that is until Daniel finds it), I still love that they came to me for Henry’s first days earth side.  I hope you guys love the image, Henry is a pretty lucky little dude to have you guys as his parents.  It’s always a joy seeing the love new parents have for their baby, and it’s clear how loved Hank is!

While I’m guessing 2017 was a pretty fun year as newlyweds, I’m guessing 2018 is going to be an even better year for Eric, Cara, and their new addition!
