Every wedding I photograph I thank my lucky stars that this is the career that chose me.  Every wedding I shoot makes me fall in love.  With my couples, weddings, heck, even my own marriage.  I fall in love with love and the excitement and joy.  The laughter and happiness.  The vows.  Every wedding reminds me that love prevails, and does amazing things when it brings two people who love each other together.

There was no shortage of any of the above on Ashley & Matt’s wedding day at Arpeggio Winery.  They couldn’t have had a more gorgeous backdrop to say I Do.   The loft is perfect for getting ready while the downstairs is flooded with lights and tons of opportunities to customize the day to your dream wedding look.  All of Ashley’s little details were amazingly perfect.  The property is large enough to do an outdoor ceremony with any backdrop your heart desires and the dance area with the Edison lights are swoon worthy.  Combined with the band, Imagine That performing their first dance, you couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my evening.

Totally random side note: I was so looking forward to this wedding just because of the proposal.  Matt proposed to Ashley in front of family.  With a gorgeous ring.  And a puppy.  Just based on the thoughtfulness and FUN to their engagement story I couldn’t wait for their early fall wedding to come.

Overall, the day was amazing.  I’m betting that if Matt makes Ashley laugh even a fraction of what she did on her wedding day, their marriage will be filled with fun and joy for the rest of their days.  In the meantime, I’m smiling away as I edit because I never once asked Ashley to smile when she was with Matt.  He already had her so happy, it shows in every image.
