I was so excited to capture the littlest sister in this girl gang. Fia has two older sisters that could not have been more adorable and loving on their newest sibling. I think they may have been the first kiddos that I used the bed setup on. Even though they weren’t entirely sure of the crazy lady behind the camera, they’d already met me and knew we’d have at least a little bit of fun together!
We did their session(s) right around spring, and mom really loved yellow so I ran by my favorite florist who is always so good to me. They just bring me back to the cooloer and I get to pick my favorite blooms that I think will work best for my session.
One thing about newborn sessions and Hidden Gem Photography. Babies have their own little opinions. Sometimes they have off days just as we do. We actually had to have two sessions because the day that we scheduled their newborn session, Fia wasn’t actually feeling the day (haha).
Since mom was already in hair and makeup and the girls were en route for their portion, we decided to get family and sibling pictures (because honestly, I really do believe that are JUST as important as pictures of babe along) and reconvene at another time.
When I say I guarantee you’ll love your gallery, I absolutely mean it. Not every baby can do every pose. So there may be a pose or two that you love and baby can’t curl into, but at the end of the day, we find enough other adorable poses that absolutely fill albums and walls galore.
It took a little face swap, but mom fell in love with my acrylic line and now has a gorgeous piece of artwork hanging over her fireplace for everyone to love for years to come! (No judging picture quality- that last picture was taken with my cell phone after I finished installing!).
