Kaden is kicking off a huge streak of ALL BOYS. Aside from one client who is still in her first trimester, every newborn session I have scheduled is for a boy. Where are my girls at?! For some reason, dads don’t love when I suggest floral tiebacks (older sisters always think it’s a fabulous idea).
At 12 days fresh, Kaden was in my studio before his actual due date! I might have to start doing sessions at this age all the time because this little guy rocked his newborn session. To be honest, I was a tad nervous because he’s the first baby I’ve had in the studio since I’ve really started getting big, and my usual helper was in Disney. Lame. I had NOTHING to worry about, he never made me work too hard to get him into pose. Plus, he smiled. A lot. Check out more in the newborn gallery.
With every session, I want to know colors, likes, dislikes, etc. to provide a custom session designed around your wants and needs. These are images you have to love for years to come, so I want to get to know you and what you love. With Kaden’s session, we didn’t have a lot of time to plan (little bugger came almost two weeks early!) but Angela’s home has accents of brown & red, so we wrapped him up to make sure we incorporated colors that suited their home.
Personally, I already loved this setup. My white washed wall, the box I found while in Michigan, and a pretty, neutral layer. But I loved the setup even more when Angela said it fit in perfectly with their rustic décor. I love when my visions fit perfectly with the clients & their expectations!
I was so happy that Angela found me in time to do Kaden’s newborn session. These sessions are best done between 7 and 14 days for babies born on time. Technically, with Kaden arriving early, we probably would have had a little more time, but apparently, it all worked out perfectly, as he was a dream babe!
